How to Install extlinux software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

extlinux software package provides collection of boot loaders (ext2/3/4 and btrfs bootloader), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install extlinux 

extlinux is installed in your system.

Make ensure the extlinux package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep extlinux *
